Darcy Brown
Darcy returns to reprise the role of Victor Frankenstein for Crossroads Live and Shake & Stir Theatre Co.
Since graduating from NIDA, Darcy has worked extensively across theatre and film for over a decade.
For Shake & Stir, he has previously starred in The Twits and Animal Farm – his performance in Animal Farm garnering a Matilda Award for Best Supporting Actor.
Other recent theatre credits include Ghost Stories (Realscape), Oil (Red Stitch), the Australian premieres of The Play That Goes Wrong and (as Peter) Peter Pan Goes Wrong (Lunchbox), Peddling (MTC; Green Room nomination for Best Male Performer), Henry V (Bell Shakespeare national tour; Green Room Award for Best Ensemble), The Merchant of Venice (Sport for Jove), The Mystery of the Valkyrie (Woodward Productions), We Are the Ghosts of the Future (The Rocks Bizarre Festival), The Uncanny Valley (Griffin), Fireface (Stories Like These/ATYP).
Darcy has also appeared in the feature film Ice Road 2: Road to the Sky, and television series Why Are You Like This? (ABC/Netflix), Glitch (ABC/Netflix) and Romper Stomper (Stan).
Tony Cogin
Tony is acclaimed actor with over 35 years of experience across stage and screen.

Nick James
Nick has worked across Australia and internationally as an actor, performer, writer, director, facilitator, and dramaturg. As an actor for Shake & Stir Theatre Co, Nick has appeared in A Christmas Carol (2020, 2021, 2022, 2023), Jane Eyre (2022), and Frankenstein (2023), as well as being a touring actor for the in-schools for the company (2020-2022).
As a graduate of The Victorian College of the Arts (Bachelor of Fine Arts Acting, 2016), Nick received the 2015 Richard Pratt Bursary for Outstanding Acting and represented the college playing Benedick in Much Ado About Nothing at the 2016 Folkwang Shakespeare Festival in Essen, Germany. As a writer/devisor he was co-writer and co-devisor of Unplugged, which debuted at the 2015 Asia Pacific Bureau Theatre Schools Festival and Directors Conference in Singapore, as well as Bag of D*cks (Bad Ducks Co), which had seasons at both Melbourne Fringe Festival and Adelaide Fringe Festival. Other roles include Dramaturgical Secondment on The Removalists at Queensland Theatre, and Adjudicator for the Queensland Youth Shakespeare Festival 2020-present, as well as currently working as Manager In Schools for Shake & Stir Theatre Co.

Anna Lise Phillips
Anna Lise Phillips was recently seen in the Disney+ drama series THE CLEARING alongside Miranda Otto, Guy Pearce and Teresa Palmer, the Netflix/Peacock series IRREVERENT, and ABC/NBC Universal series FIRES.
Anna Lise has starred in some of Australia’s leading television series including the ABC crime drama HARROW, AACTA Award winning Foxtel series, DEVIL’S PLAYGROUND, Seven Network’s MS FISHER’S MODERN MURDER MYSTERIES, telemovie THE KILLING FIELD, YOUNG LIONS, THE SECRET LIFE OF US, CROWNIES, BASTARD BOYS, A DIFFICULT WOMAN, MARRIAGE ACTS, MCLEOD’S DAUGHTERS, WILDSIDE, WATER RATS, CITY HOMICIDE, STINGERS, MURDER CALL, HEARTBREAK HIGH, ALL SAINTS, NEIGHBOURS, HOME AND AWAY, BACKBERNER, TRICKY BUSINESS, TERRA NOVA on the Fox Network, the US biopic THE THREE STOOGES, and series, FARSCAPE. In 2013, Anna Lise won a Glug Award for Best Actress in a Supporting role for her portrayal of Becky Shaw in the Ensemble Theatre’s BECKY SHAW. Anna Lise is a proud member of MEAA and SAG/AFTRA.
Jeremiah Wray
Jeremiah Wray is a 2017 graduate of NIDA and holds the privilege of training under legends of Australian stage and screen, Judy Davis and Philip Quast.
Recently, Jeremiah toured in major productions of James and the Giant Peach (Shake & Stir Theatre Co) and Bluey’s Big Play. Prior to that, he spent 18 months featured in the landmark production Harry Potter and the Cursed Child (Michael Cassell Group), Melbourne.
Prior to his move to Melbourne, Jeremiah was a fixture on Brisbane’s flourishing independent theatre scene, performing in and developing works for the Brisbane Powerhouse (Maze) and Metro Arts (Conviction, Reagan Kelly). He has also featured in productions with companies including La Boite Theatre Co and Dead Puppets Society (Echoes in the Dust).
In addition to his stage work, Jeremiah has appeared in TV series including Young Rock and Reef Break.
Jeremiah originated the role of The Creature in Shake & Stir’s smash-hit, sold-out production of Frankenstein in 2023 and is thrilled to be revising to the role for the Melbourne and Sydney seasons.
Chloé Zuel
Chloé Zuel has spent the last 14 years on Australian stages, best known for originating the role of ‘Eliza Hamilton’ in the Australian production of Hamilton The Musical.
Chloé previously originated the role of ‘Catherine of Aragon’ in the Australian cast of Six the Musical, played ‘Anita’ in West Side Story Australia, New Zealand, Germany and ‘Sarah’ in Ragtime for The Production Company. Prior to that, Chloé was ‘Little Eva/Shirelles’ in the premier production of Beautiful; The Carole King Musical (Michael Cassel) and ‘Reno’ in Dusty for the Adelaide Production Company season.
Other theatre credits include: ‘Dynamite’ in Hairspray The Musical, ‘Pilar’ in Legally Blonde the Musical, ‘Maid’ in The Mikado for The Court Theatre Christchurch, ‘Éponine’ understudy in Cameron Mackintosh’s Les Misérables, ‘Joanne’ in Rent for The Hayes Theatre, ‘Ronette’ in the Australian tour of Little Shop of Horrors and ‘Annie’ in Porgy and Bess for Sydney Symphony Orchestra.
Chloé has performed internationally as a lead singer, her most notable engagements including a two year stint at Universal Studios Japan and a three-month residency with a nine-piece band at The Bellini Lounge in The Venetian Macau.
In 2023 Chloé was a soloist and feature singer in Disney 100: The Concert (MM Creative) alongside Sydney Symphony Orchestra, The Gold Coast Pops, and Perth Symphony Orchestra. Following the birth of her son, Chloé returned to the stage In 2024 to perform in the concert Superstars – A Celebration of Andrew Lloyd Webber & Tim Rice for The Very Popular Theatre Company alongside Marina Prior, Silvie Paladino, Joshua Robson and Daniel Belle.
